One wall, several quite different pieces of work

A slat wall, a moulded panelled wall and a stretch fabric wall are three different jobs over the same square footage, which is why we quote per project rather than publish a rate. What decides the fixing method is the substrate and what sits behind it, and that is something we check at the consultation rather than assume.

Everything is made to the wall it is going on, so panel widths, slat spacing and finish are set during design rather than chosen off a shelf. Most treatments can go over existing drywall.

Wall treatments we install

The treatments we are asked for most often. Several have a page of their own with more detail.

Slat and batten

Evenly spaced members over a solid backing. The shadow lines between them are the point, and the effect shifts as the light angle moves through the day.

Real timber, with board-to-board variation and a surface that ages.

Wallpaper and murals

Grasscloth, textured coverings and custom murals, hung properly.

Shiplap, tongue-and-groove, barn plank and reclaimed profiles. Polyurethane and PVC are fully waterproof.

A tensioned membrane on a perimeter track, for a seamless surface with no joints.

Textures, colors and finish

Wall work takes the same finish library as the ceiling lines, and where a wall has to agree with flooring, cabinetry or trim already in the room we color match to a sample rather than to a chart.
